1. If you plan on giving this as a Christmas gift you may want to spend the $2.99 more and get the one with the regular box. The $12 price is for frustration free packaging. As you can see from the reviews there are people complaining that its just a brown box and doesn't look good as a gift.  The bad reviews are all about the box and not about the toy, the toy is great!
